The Schwinn Bicycle Company (Arnold, Schwinn & Co. from 1895 until 1967) was a mayor American bicycle manufacturer that dominated its market during a large part of the 20th century. It acquired the Excelsior Motor Manufacturing & Supply Company in 1912 and the Henderson Motorcycle Company in 1917.
