English: Otranto was built as a passenger liner in 1909. She was requisitioned as an auxiliary cruiser and troop ship in the First World War. In October 1918 she was part of a convoy taking US soldiers to Glasgow and Liverpool. On 6 Oct 1918 she was involved in a collision with HMS Kashmir and sank.[1][2]
