English: John Henry Hager (August 28, 1936 – August 23, 2020) was an American politician who served as the 37th Lieutenant Governor of Virginia from 1998 to 2002. He acted as an assistant secretary in the United States Department of Education from 2004 to 2007 and served as chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia from August 2007 to May 2008.
