English: In Egyptian mythology, Hapy was a deification of the annual flooding of the Nile River, which deposited rich fertile silt on its banks, allowing the Egyptians to grow crops. Depicted as a male with blue skin, long hair, a false beard, and pendulous breasts.
Français : Hâpy ou Hapy est la personnification divine du Nil dans la mythologie égyptienne. Chaque année, le Nil débordait de son lit pour fertiliser les rives asséchées par le climat aride de l'Égypte. Le limon qu'il transportait rendait possible leur culture.
