English: The Gauls were a European tribe in the classical era. In recorded history they inhabited two locations - France (known as 'Gaul'), and Anatolia (known as 'Galitea'). The term 'Gaul' can thus also refer to people from the area called Gaul, including both Celts and Gallo-romans. Mostly archeological finds.
