Dansk: ADAS-modellen bruges i dag af mange økonomer til at beskrive den makroøkonomiske udvikling. Modellen bygger teoretisk set på neokeynesianismen. Målet er at forklare fluktuationer på langt sigt. Vigtigt er det især, at de to klassiske opfattelser om monetær neutralitet og klassisk dikotomi. It was first put forth by John Maynard Keynes in his work The General Theory of Employment. It is the foundation for the modern field of macroeconomics, and is accepted by a broad array of economists, from Libertarian, Monetarist supporters of laissez-faire, such as Milton Friedman to Socialist, Post-Keynesian supporters of economic interventionism, such as Joan Robinson.
