Colombian actress Sofia Vergara has been nominated for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, which will take place on January 5 in Los Angeles.
This year marks the 82nd edition of the Golden Globes, celebrating the best in film and television. On Monday, the official list of nominees was revealed, featuring Vergara in the Best Actress in a Series category for her performance in Griselda.
Vergara will compete for the award alongside renowned industry figures such as Jodie Foster (“True Detective: Night Country”), Kate Winslet (“The Regime”), Cristin Milioti (“The Penguin”), Naomi Watts (“Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”), and Cate Blanchett (“Disclaimer”).
With this nomination, Vergara now has a total of five Golden Globe nods throughout her career. She was previously nominated in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 for her iconic role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the hit series Modern Family.
