Bogota Fashion Weekend Kicks Off Its First Edition. This weekend, both locals and tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the country’s most prominent fashion events.
The inaugural edition of Bogotá Fashion Weekend will feature the participation of over 364 fashion brands, offering exclusive discounts and special promotions for the holiday season. According to the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB), the event organizer, admission will be free. Furthermore, the main objective is to highlight the commitment to the economic development of the sector, boosting the growth and strengthening of fashion businesses in the city.
The event will host more than 160 activities throughout the weekend, allowing attendees to enjoy fashion shows, exhibitions and explore the latest collections from participating brands. These activities aim to promote the vibrancy of the industry, connecting entrepreneurs, designers and consumers around fashion.
Bogota fashion weekend programming
The organizers have prepared a diverse agenda that includes:
- Guided tours through iconic fashion spaces.
- Interactive activities and happenings.
- Panel discussions on sustainability, international marketing, trends and fashion experiences.
Additionally, attendees will have the chance to visit 137 iconic locations in Bogota, some of which will be opening their doors to the public for the first time. At these venues, visitors can purchase exclusive pieces and take advantage of promotions specially designed for the holiday season.
Featured Brands and Designers
Among the participating brands are OndadeMar, Seven Seven, Argento & Bourbon, Whitman, Hipnos, Baobab, Tinta Latina, Bruna, Ellipse, Dērive af Buren and Renata Lozano. The agenda also includes prominent names in the industry, such as Paula Mendoza, Jorge Duque Velez, Silvia Tcherassi, Olga Piedrahíta and Juan Pablo Socarras, who will present their collections and share their creative vision.
Fashion Circuits and Free Transportation
Bogota Fashion Weekend will take place across four fashion circuits located in Quinta Camacho/Zona G, Zona T, Chapinero Norte, and El Chico. Additionally, there will be two special routes in the San Victorino and Restrepo districts. To facilitate access, a free transportation service with 64 stops will be available, allowing visitors to move conveniently between the different event locations.
This weekend, Bogota becomes the epicenter of national fashion, blending creativity, innovation and commerce in an event that promises to set a new standard in the capital.
