The vers.req file is used to retrieve firmware information from the camera.
To get firmware version information with vers.req, hold FUNCSET and click DISP.
CHDK specialities[]
- The default CHDK alt shortcut for this camera is PLAY. DISP or VIDEO may also be selected in CHDK options. A long press activates the original Canon firmware function.
- NOTE In builds prior to 1765, the alt shortcut was FUNCSET+DISP
- This camera is able to boot from FAT32 cards. Multipartition is not needed or supported.
