The CFI Education Department was launched with The Teacher Institute for Evolutionary Science in 2015. Thanks to its success, ScienceSaves was added in 2022 and Generation Skeptics in 2023. Our free educational resources have been downloaded thousands of times and we have presented over 400 teacher professional development opportunities across all 50 US States.
ScienceSaves promotes the fact that science has granted us longer, healthier lives.
We use scientific achievements to teach basic skills like graphing, data analysis, and experimental design.
TIES offers teachers engaging hands-on and online resources to cover their evolution standards.
This includes live webinars with scientists, full units, and individual lessons.
We help teachers guide their students through a world swamped with misinformation.
Our lessons focus on determining credible sources, identifying pseudoscience, and practicing skeptical thinking.
Help Us Help Fellow Teachers
We are looking for science teachers to present workshops in their school districts and local colleges on their state science standards on evolution and natural selection. We cover your expenses and pay you a stipend.
Do you have a lab idea or lessons that work that you’d like to share? Our fellow teachers are often our best resources.
