UPDATE ON DECEMBER 22, 2020: Today, I sent an email to WHYY (PBS, the operator of the PBS Kids channel) about if the removal of Caillou from PBS Kids' channel is permanent or not. I will leave another update below if and when I get a response.
UPDATE 2 ON DECEMBER 23, 2020: I received a response stating that the removal of Caillou from its schedule is permanent, unfortunately. They also told me that December 26 and December 27 at 6:00 AM are the final times Caillou will air ever. While I am very sad because of this, at least it lasted years on the channel, it started airing in September 2000 on the old version of PBS Kids, and came back in 2017 when the new version of PBS Kids came, and I think Caillou books are still being produced.
Hello, I’m CaillouFan (for those who don’t know me). Today I have some bad news for me and all other Caillou fans, completely, on the PBS Kids channel (at least for me because I live in New Jersey). I have evidence below that I took a picture with my iPod touch 7th generation (latest model) I got last month.
Since Xfinity can go up to 14 days from today, I checked ket.org’s website to make sure I was correct, and I am.
I don’t know how I’m going to deal with this. I tried searching up on Google on how to deal with it, but the only results showed were COVID-19 reports from March this year, and a Netflix post about what movies I should watch that was posted on January 1st this year (yup, time is going pretty fast this year). I don’t know how I’m going to deal with this right now, since Caillou is my one of my favorite TV shows.
