Boris, also known as Daddy is the father of Caillou and Rosie , the husband of Doris, and the son of Grandma and Grandpa. He is voiced by Pat Fry in the original series, by Mike Pollock in Caillou: the New Adventures, and Tyrone Savage in the 2023 reboot. Boris is a nice father to both of his kids and often teaches them new things.
About Boris[]
- Typically, he sports a green sweater with red trims, blue pants and red shoes.
- In the winter (particularly when shoveling snow), he wears a puffy blue jacket.
- At bedtime, he wears blue pajamas and tan sandals.
- In "Caillou Stays Up Late", he tells Caillou that his friends are coming to the dinner party at the house tonight and that Caillou and Rosie are not allowed to participate and must go to bed. He also tells Caillou that he won't have any fun at this party tonight anyway, because their schedules don't match up and it's a "grownup party". Also, he teaches Caillou that big boys can sleep even when it's a little noisy.
- At work, he wears blue jacket, white shirt, a paisley tie, khaki pants and brown shoes in All In A Day's Work.
- In "Caillou the Chef", Daddy reveals that he once worked at a pizza parlor.
- His dad played football with him when he was a child.
- When he was a kid, he had a hiding spot in a tree at his parents' house, which Caillou finds.

- Boris, complete with Pat Fry voicing him, sent a birthday message to a Caillou fan in September 2010.[1]
- People on the internet had gone wild with this character by making GoAnimate/Vyond & Plotagon videos of him grounding his son for idiotic reasons on YouTube, while in this show, Boris never does this, unlike his GoAnimate/Plotagon version.
- His new voice actor in Caillou's New Adventures, Mike Pollock, is best known as the voice of Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
