Plot[]
Caillou is playing with his toy car in the kitchen when Caillou's Mommy comes in and gives him his hat and tells him to go outside to the garden. Grandpa is in the garden and planting carrot seeds. Caillou drops some in the ground and is very surprised that the seeds will grow into carrots. When they finish Grandpa and Caillou make a sign with a carrot on it to put it in the garden. Caillou waits for a while but the carrots don't grow that quickly a few checks later the tops of the carrots can be seen. One day it rains and the tops of the carrots get bigger and continue to get bigger. The next time Caillou checks a squirrel is near the carrots Caillou scares it away. Later Grandpa comes by and Caillou shows him the carrots. He says that they are ready to be picked. Caillou tries to pick one, it is very hard but then it comes out and that night Caillou's family have some of the carrots with their dinner and Grandpa, Caillou, Caillou's Mommy, Caillou's Daddy and Rosie love them.

- At the beginning of the episode, Caillou is wearing the grey shirt he wore in season 1. He is also seen wearing several other shirts throughout the course of the episode, to help give a sense of time passing.
