Caillou's Summer Good night is an episode from Season 1 of "Caillou". This episode was aired on November 7, 1997 and on October 20, 2000 on PBS Kids.
Plot[]
Caillou and Rosie are waiting for their favorite babysitter, Grandma, to come and babysit them.
She finally arrives, and after Caillou's parents leave, she plays games with Caillou and Rosie.
She and Caillou play with some puppets and have show while they are behind the sofa. Gilbert then takes a puppet. Bedtime arrives and Grandma puts Rosie in bed and reads Caillou a story.
Later, Gilbert falls on Caillou and he can't get back to sleep because Caillou's Mommy has taken down his curtains down to clean them. Grandma comes in and finds Caillou awake and knows what to do.
She makes Caillou a night sky to put over the window and once the night sky is there Caillou falls asleep very quickly.
Summary[]
Caillou is tossing and turning. No matter what he does he just can't get to sleep. It's summer and his curtains are at the cleaners. Luckily Grandma has a wonderful idea: She makes a cardboard cutout night sky to put against the window. It darkens the room and projects the moon and the stars onto his walls and ceiling. Caillou falls asleep in no time.

- Caillou was not able to sleep, because it was summer which makes the day longer. Caillou could have slept a little later.
- In this episode, Caillou wears his PJ's from season 2 with the red color.
- This was the last season 1 episode to air on PBS Kids until its rights to the show expire.
