Caillou's Friends (French Title: Les Amis De Caillou) is an episode from Season 1 of Caillou. This episode first aired September 24, 1997, and on September 15, 2000, on PBS Kids.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Caillou being sad because he has nobody to play with. Grandma asks if has any friends but Caillou says no. So Grandma sits closer to him, and Grandma says Clementine is his friend showing a flashback.

They both are seen in daycare, with Caillou asking Clementine if he could have candy but she says no but then she says yes. However she accidently spills all the candy on the floor. Clementine then puts the yellow candy in a row, and Caillou then is about to eat a red candy but Ms. Martin stops him, saying that the candy was on the floor. Clementine then takes out clean candy to give to Caillou.

Then Grandma says Leo is also his friend showing another flashback. Caillou and Leo are both laughing on the swings at the park when Mommy asks what is so funny and Caillou says nothing. Then, a farting noise is heard and both laugh even harder.

Grandma says that's two friends, then asks if he has any other friends, but he says no. Then Grandma says Gilbert is his friend showing the final flashback, where Caillou and Gilbert are on the bed playing and then Caillou hugs Gilbert as the flashback ends, making three friends.

Caillou is now even happier that he has more friends than he realizes. Rosie and Mr. Hinkle is also his friends making five friends. Then Caillou sees Mommy and Daddy are coming saying that they are also his friends, making seven friends. Then Mommy says that Grandma is also his friend, making a total of eight friends.

  • Rosie's dress error

    Rosie's dress is green rather than blue.

    After Caillou realizes Rosie is also his friend, her dress is green rather than blue.
  • Clementine has normal eyes in this episode instead of black dotted eyes.
