- Narrator: Oh, you're going to like this story!
- [The kids jumped on a couch while laughing]
- Narrator: Excuse me. Now let’s see. What did Caillou do today? Today's story is called: “Big Brother Caillou”. [Transitions to the story] It all happened back when Caillou was a very little boy, about 2 and a half years old…
- Caillou: Baby sister coming, Mommy?
- Doris: Very soon, Caillou. I'm going to the hospital today. Grandma will look after you.
- Narrator: A few days later, Caillou was very excited because he was going to meet Rosie, for the very first time.
- [Doris and Boris got home]
- Caillou: Mommy here! Daddy here! [he rushed to the front door]
- Boris: We’re home!
- Doris: [with Rosie] All three of us. Say hello to your new sister, Caillou. This is Rosie.
- Narrator: Caillou wasn’t sure if he liked Rosie.
- Grandma: Oh she’s just beautiful, she’s absolutely adorable!
- Doris: Isn’t she gorgeous?
- Boris: She’s my special girl.
- [Rosie cries]
- Narrator: Rosie wasn’t very happy...and neither was Caillou. Nobody was paying attention to him! He thought they only cared about Rosie! Caillou was so unhappy, he didn't even like his doll anymore!
- [Meanwhile, at Rosie's room. Caillou goes over to Boris holding Rosie in the rocky chair follow him]
- Boris: Would you like to rock the baby, Caillou?
- Caillou: [groaned, whined] No…
- Narrator: Caillou didn’t know if he liked Rosie very much.
- Boris Ok, maybe later.
- [Boris goes up to get the diapers as Caillou kisses Rosie and then pinch her. Rosie cried as Boris approaches]
- Narrator: Caillou’s daddy wasn’t happy to see him pinching Rosie.
- Boris: Caillou, why did you do that to Rosie?
- Caillou: I don’t like Rosie!
- Boris: Why not?
- Caillou: Rosie doesn’t play with me.
- Boris: But she's only a baby. She's too little to play with you now. It's not easy being a big brother is it? But now that you are a big brother, you can protect Rosie, since she's so small. Say, would you like to help me? I can’t do this by myself.
- [Caillou agrees to help Boris with changing Rosie’s diaper. Caillou gives the diaper to Boris as Boris take the dirty one out of Rosie]
- Caillou and Boris: Pee-hew!
- [Gilbert smelled the dirty diaper and goes to the living room with Doris]
- Doris: So, you’ve been feeling a bit left out of things too, have you, Gilbert?
- Doris: All changed?
- Caillou: Yes. I helped Daddy.
- Doris: Would you like to hold her, Caillou?
- Caillou: Yes, please, Mommy.
- Doris: [gives Rosie to Caillou] Watch her head.
- [Caillou kisses Rosie]
- Doris: What is it, Caillou?
- Caillou: [sniffs Rosie] Rosie smells good!
