A Surprise for Mommy is an episode from Season 2 of Caillou.
Plot[]
The episode starts out with Caillou, Rosie, and Daddy walking down the sidewalk. Daddy plots he wants to surprise Mommy with something and just can't figure out what. Then he asks Caillou if he knows but he tells him he doesn't but then he notices his laces were not tied. So Daddy tells him to hold to Rosie's stroller and he ties Caillou's shoe. Then Clementine and Billy come out of a photo studio and says they got their photo together and shows him the photo. As soon as he sees the picture Caillou asks Daddy if they can get a photo which makes Daddy say "Perfect." So that's what the surprise for Mommy will be. Then so the three of them step into a room through a curtain and then Caillou sees special umbrellas and then Daddy tells them they're for the flash to make the light bounce around. So Daddy sits Rosie on a yellow couch in another corner of the room and tells Caillou to me a photo a surprise for Mommy. Caillou takes off his backpack with Rexy inside it and hands it to Dad and he tells Caillou that they don't tell her at all so that means they keep their lips zipped, then a photographer cane's out and says Hello and that his name is Bryce. Then he tells Caillou and Rosie to give him a great smile, As he takes the picture Rosie cries, but then Bryce tells them that they are going to have to retake it so he retakes the picture again but Rosie still cries. Bryce says that they have to find another way to make Rosie smile so Caillou gets up and he takes Rexy out and says that Rosie loves Rexy so he hands him to Daddy and gets back on the couch next to Rosie and so Daddy stands beside Bryce and tells Rosie to keep her eyes on Rexy. So Rosie keeps her eyes on Rexy and she is finally calm after the photo taken and this time the picture turned out great. Bryce then says to come back tomorrow to pick the photo up. So the next day while Mommy is the kitchen Daddy tells Caillou that they have to go to "you know where" to pick up "you know what". Then Mommy turns around and asks them if they are ever going to tell her the secret, then Caillou almost spoils the surprise by saying it's a photo but stops before he says it before spoiling it and then says it's a surprise. Then Mommy tells Rosie knowing that Rosie won't tell her either then Rosie giggles, then they all decide to go to together to get the photo, Then Mommy asks where the "you know where," is and what the "you know what" is. So then they head to the photo studio and pick up the photo and then Mommy loves it and they came back home and sit on their couch and look at it altogether. Then Daddy says they can unzip their lips now that they don't have to keep it a secret anymore, so he and Caillou do that then they, Rosie and Mommy all laugh the episode ends.
