March Birth Flower Cheerful Yellow Daffodils ~ Edwardian Postcards
March is a special month for me. So many of my favorite friends and loved ones have March birthdays. The flower for March is the cherry sunny yellow daffodil or narcissus. All the pictures are from antique postcards. I would date them from late Victorian to Edwardian period. Hope they brighten your day!

Daffodils and Vintage Calendar to Welcome March
Hi everyone,
Today I have images to celebrate the start of March. This is a very special month for me. My Mother, Grandmother and dearest friend were born in March. Sunny daffodils grow on hillsides and in gardens. What a wonderful selection for a birth flower. They appear without fail and brighten my day.Just like true friends and loved ones.Have a beautiful day and much love to you all, Louise

Lovely Flower Ladies from early 1900's ~ Art Nouveau China Painting Designs
These lovely flower ladies are from the early 1900's. Originally patterns for china painting you could use them for other projects. Love the one with a cup full of tea/coffee and the daffodil one.
The Legacy had a donation of old china painting supplies recently. A few plates were done but the rest were in various stages of completion and unfired. I found it so interesting after finding the old books on china painting earlier this year. Be sure and look at my earlier post on 4-25-12.
Thank you for your kind comments. Hope you have a happy and creative day, Love to you all, Louise
