Pie is the only dessert at Southern Kin in Somerville's Assembly Row, and there's a variety from which to choose. Available by the slice ($6) or whole ($34), the options include pecan, buttermilk, chocolate with peanut butter, key lime, peach, and blueberry.

In addition to selections like salted caramel apple, pecan, pumpkin, and apple pear cranberry pies, Petsi Pies also makes savory pies stuffed full of vegetables, chicken, cheese, and sometimes bacon.
