BGM Airshow

Greater Binghamton Airport has been honored to host Airshows for its local community throughout the past 4 decades. These Airshows are a staple of Broome County, and draw thousands of people from all over the tri-state area. Our experienced staff has planned and executed many airshows over the years and continue to do so.

BGM Airshows has hosted a variety of performers such as The USAF Thunderbirds, the US Navy Blue Angels, the Geico Skytypers, the US Army Golden Knights, and many more.

Airshows are usually considered every 2 years and announced 1 year prior. Go visit this page on our website or check our Facebook regularly for updates on upcoming Airshows.

Trick or Treating event

The Greater Binghamton Airport hosts its annual Trick or Treat event on or around Halloween each year. For 3 to 4 hours during the day we invite little goblins, superheroes, princesses, and all types of costumed children to join at the Airport Terminal. In addition to the Airport Tenants and the Airport itself, County Departments are invited to participate by staffing a table and handing out candy to visitors. Weather permitting, tables will be located both outdoors and indoors. This event allows little ones to have a safe, warm, and dry environment to join in the Halloween fun!

Sunset Runway 5k

The Sunset Runway 5k is a unique experience for runners and walkers alike. It allows participants to run, jog, and walk an official 5k course that takes them along the Taxiways and Runways on the airfield. One of the best parts of the event is the spectacular sunset near the end of the course. Participants get the understanding of how large the Airport really is while experiencing a sunset from the best place to see them in all of Broome County!

Honor Flight

Greater Binghamton Airport hosts the Twin Tiers Honor Flight Mission missions from our Corporate Hangars. Part of the national Honor Flight network, Twin Tiers Honor Flight is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing veterans with a free trip to Washington DC to visit their memorials and Arlington National Cemetery. The heroes are welcomed back to BGM and Broome County with large cheering crowds, bands, and personal recognition. It is a truly moving event that the Airport and Broome County is honored to be a part of.
