ION did a very good job from start to finish. Everything was explained thoroughly by our sales rep, Brian S. When I was unsure of whether we were getting a good deal, he encouraged me to get a competing quote. The competitor's price turned out to be almost exactly the same per kWh. However, they were suggesting we get many more panels than we really needed, and their communication wasn't nearly as good. Brian wanted us to feel good about our ultimate choice, and we did. Communication throughout the purchase, design, installation, and inspection phases was frequent via email, phone, and text. Now I probably have too much fun looking at my app to see how much power we are producing each day!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I normally don't entertain people coming to my house trying to sell a product. I will say I have always thought about getting Solar because it makes sense to me however I never knew what company to trust and from my past experience most sales people are scams. When Mr. Ryan H of Virginia Beach, VA came to my house in February 2022 I was ready to turn him away but he was so nice and professional I decided to hear him out. After the initial meeting I decided to have him come back the next day to give me more information on ION Solar. I am so glad I did, he was the most professional and friendly sales guy I have ever met. He came in set up his laptop and went over every detail any questions I had he answered. Unlike most sales people they are pushy and they have no idea what they are talking about they just want to sell you a product that they don't even believe in. He was so educated on ION Solar even I was impressed. That day I decided to get ION Solar thanks to Mr. H and I am so glad I did. With most people who sell a product after you purchase the product they are selling you never hear from them again. Mr. Ryan H stayed in touch with me through the entire process ensuring I was happy with ION Solar. I had no issues with install and or inspections the communication with the entire company was nothing sort then excellent and professional. I am writing this review today because I received my first power bill from Dominion tonight as where it is normally $200+ today it was a today of....... $1.71 yes ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY ONE CENTS. Now I did have a $5.55 credit from the month before so in reality my total bill is $7.26. AGAIN THANK YOU MR. RYAN H for helping me and my family invest in our home. YOUR AMAZING.

ION has diffracted itself from all other solar companies through technology and their exceptional sales approach. We were shopping around for a solar solution and came across ION when they stopped by our home simply introducing their products rather than trying to sell me something. Skeptical, I asked the same questions I’d asked the other companies and to my surprise, their answers made sense. After signing up, the process was seamless. No downpayment, no installment fees, no permanent fees, no hassle. They even made my first installment payment due to delays in the local municipal inspection and activation process that was outside of their control. This company is the best I've ever dealt with. Their employees are top notch. I have been kept in the loop from start to finish, not only from my Rep, Lauren, but also her collegues. I always knew at what point we were in the process. My roof replacement was included and it was completed in one day. The workers were a well oiled machine. When it was time for my panels to be installed, same experience. Wonderful and professional employees who kept me aware of every step. White glove service, advanced design, best technology. Joe was very knowledgeable, explained all the considerations and why ION chose their approach.
We also talked with Costco/Sun Run and felt that not only was ION’s product and approach better, but the cost was much lower … than Costco!
Our installation was over the past summer. No issues and we have seen huge savings on our electric bill during one of the hottest summers on record.

Great company to get your solar installations from. The rep explained everything with transparency from the beginning of the process and set the expectations clear. The operations team took over and came up with a game plan for installation. They explained the roof situation and let us know what options we have to proceed . Any problems found during the installation was addressed by the operations team. Everything from following up with HOA to getting the permits from city was completed by the team. ION Solar is highly recommended when it comes to your solar needs and they take care of their customers very well.

Ion Solar has been very easy to work with. They had some problems with a couple of their sub contractors, but were extremely responsive in correcting the issues. Also after installation one of the panels was not producing power like the other 20 panels. They sent out a tech who assessed the situation and after some trouble shooting replaced the defective panel. In addition while replacing the panel there was some damage to the vinyl siding. They arranged for a company to come out replace the entire wall of siding. Very professional and responsive.

I was surprised how easy it could be to get solar installed on our house. ION Solar works with you to determine the best location, they will reinforce your roof (if necessary) and will do all of the work to install solar panels, including educating you and how the process works. I especially like using the app to see how much money I am putting back into the grid, which saves me money on my electricity bill!

ION Solar does great work at a good price. It did not take them long to install my solar system. I was surprised how fast they did the installation. I have an extremely low power bill because my system generates more power than I use. I believe the small about monthly $16 fee is for monitoring the system and local taxes. I am happy with the system. Hollie is very good at explaining everything a customer needs to know about the installation cost, the installation time and how the system works.

I was approached by several different solar companies due to my house being in a prime location for the sun. However, John presented things in a way that was completely different from the rest. Once I accepted, ION made the process so easy. I received texts and could track the progress with their app. The installation guys took my OCD into account and made sure things were neat, the outside boxes weren't positioned and looking crazy, and painted the pole going the side of my house to match my vinyl. I would highly recommend John and the entire ION team to anyone :).

I am so happy with my new solar system!! I researched providers for more than a year before selecting ION Solar. They did an awesome job from the first contact and the representative that came to assist me was able to easily answer all my questions. They kept me informed, scheduled installation, permits and final inspection of their job. My new bill was only $37.00! I am sure it will go lower, but already I am saving! What can I say that would better help you the reader understand the delight it was to work with ION Solar. EVERYONE, from the initial person knocking on my door, to the support team now years after install, have been nothing but helpful and great. I have heard plenty of horror stories from my neighbors and family about the companies they went with. While I just brag at the excellent customer service and quality product they provide. Most of my neighbors have had 1-2 repairs or replacements with their solar panels. They did not go with ION like I did and now suffer. I was the first to install and tried to recommend to everyone and have had NO ISSUES. Now my neighbors constantly tell me “we should have gone with your guy”

Here we are in November, my solar has been on for roughly 10 months. I've had a hot Oklahoma summer with them on. Not a electric bill over $46 except for 1 month. The hottest month it was $92. Looking to see how many credits I build with PSO during the winter for summer use. Someone is always at the house so the AC stays on.
They took care of the approvals and we coordinated with my HOA for their approval.
The installation guys were excellent.
I'm not going to say I didn't have worries through the process. I now realize my worries were unfounded.
My sales rep Mike, was excellent. I met him first as my wife was out of town, (they want both homeowners there). When she returned, he gave a solid presentation, was able effectively answer our questions and we made adjustments to the amount of panels and got a real time cost.
Overall. It was pretty quick on install. You have 2 months before your payment starts. They will re-imburse you for the months you pay for electric and your solar panel note. I did not utilize that option bc it was during the winter and my bill was $17 (I have gas heat). If it was the summer, it would probably be a different story. It was roughly 5 months before PSO had everything rectified.
This is a somewhat extensive review. I understand. I know that purchasing solar is a big deal. But it is worth it. I'm an energy producer now. Not just a consumer. I produce for the grid, they send it back. They don't have to maintain it. It is a win for them too. Eventually, I'll have ION put in reserve battery packs.

Usually not a great fan of Door to Door marketing but ION has been an exception. They were respectful since the beginning of the conversation and great to work with.
From the get go, design phase, they were easy to work with and patient helped in making changes and help in getting necessary approvals and permits during the installation process. Since most of the communication were over SMS or Email, it was easy to work with with written communication across the phases.
They also took care of the permits and approvals from HOA to City/County approvals.
Also helped in financing with low APR that helped in replacing my electric bill with this but also get value for money.
Overall, great company to work with and quality of service.
As for the maintenance, though there were initial hiccups in reaching the team, once I did, they did great. Proper follow ups and estimated time of completion and the issue is resolved with minimal effort from me.

Honestly a great straightforward process. Probably not 100% perfect on the return but generating my own power is great and I get full credit back. I've had a couple of low to zero dollar electrical bills which is sweet. The panels are awesome and don't look totally out of place.

I've used Ion Solar for 2 different homes now. I also got my brother and his best friend to get the system. We all love it. I have full access to my system and I save money every month. My bill is $40 per month and the loan is $120 per month. Average electric in my area is about $220 per month so I'm saving $60 monthly easily. More savings in the summer of course.
My HOA gave me issues and Ion took care of it all. Such great customer service.

The first thing I noticed and liked was the initial contact; me being totally ignorant on how the solar process works with your home and your energy provider was explained it in detail more then once, Mike made SURE I understood everything and if I had questions a few months later he took the time to explain it patiently and said to contact him anytime.
Second: I was able to follow the installation from beginning to end step by step.
Third: The installers were fast, accurate and left NO mess on the property and one of the installers gave me some very useful information on saving energy even with solar panels.
Fourth: The solar panels are not visible from the street.
Fifth: I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED!
