A Texas Township Fire Levy Increase measure was on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the township of Texas which is in Kalamazoo County.

This measure sought to increase the current property tax rate by $.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further nine years. The money generated from this increase will go towards the fire district, equipping firefighters and adding new staff as needed.[2]
