Terry L. Huitink is a former senior judge on the Iowa Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this court by former Governor Terry Branstad in 1994 and retired in 2008.[1] He also previously served as a district court judge for District Three from 1988 to 1994. On June 22, 2014, Huitink passed away at the age of 62.[2]

Education

Huitink received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1974 and his J.D. from Drake University Law School in 1976.[1]

Career

Before he became a judge, Huitink worked as a private practice attorney in Ireton and Sioux Center until his appointment by former Governor Terry Branstad to District Three in 1988.[1]
