Terry L. Huitink is a former senior judge on the Iowa Court of Appeals. He was appointed to this court by former Governor Terry Branstad in 1994 and retired in 2008. He also previously served as a district court judge for District Three from 1988 to 1994. On June 22, 2014, Huitink passed away at the age of 62.

Education

Huitink received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1974 and his J.D. from Drake University Law School in 1976.

Career

Before he became a judge, Huitink worked as a private practice attorney in Ireton and Sioux Center until his appointment by former Governor Terry Branstad to District Three in 1988.
