Sheldon J. Halprin is a judge for the New York City Housing Court of New York County, New York. He was appointed to this position in 1988 and was reappointed in 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008. His current term expires in 2013.[1][2]
Education
Halprin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971 and his J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law in 1974.[1]
Career
Halprin has worked for M.F.Y. Legal Services, for the Legal Services Plan of the Teamsters Local 237 and for the Community Law Office of the Legal Aid Society. He was then appointed to the Civil Court.[1]
