Scott Helton is the District 5 representative on the Blount County Board of Education in Tennessee. The general election was held on August 7, 2014.
Biography
Helton graduated from Everett High School in 1977. He is a retired juvenile court clerk administrator. He previously served as a patrolman and narcotics agent. Helton also served 14 years on the Blount County Commission. He is married and has four children.[1]

The August 7, 2014 general election ballot for District 1 included Sammy Humphrey, Terry Hurst, Joe McCulley and Debbie Sudhoff. Incumbent Charles Finley ran unopposed on the District 3 ballot. The District 5 ballot included incumbent Don McNelly and challenger Scott Helton. The District 7 ballot included Dennis Cardin, Stan Giles and Fred Goins.
