Robert H. "Bob" Morrison, III is the Division C judge of the 21st Judicial District in Louisiana. He was first elected to this position on March 8, 1988. He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.

As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.

Education

Morrison received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and his J.D. from the Louisiana State University Law School before he was admitted to the bar in 1970.

Career

Morrison began his career in 1970 as an associate and partner of the law firm of Nesom, Mellon, Cavanaugh & Due. He then worked from 1974 to 1976 as a sole practitioner and from 1976 to 1988 as a partner of Fayard, Morrison & Kuhn. He was then elected to the district court in 1988.
