Robert H. "Bob" Morrison, III is the Division C judge of the 21st Judicial District in Louisiana. He was first elected to this position on March 8, 1988.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4]

Morrison ran for re-election to the 19th Judicial District.
As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4]

Education

Morrison received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and his J.D. from the Louisiana State University Law School before he was admitted to the bar in 1970.[5]

Career

Morrison began his career in 1970 as an associate and partner of the law firm of Nesom, Mellon, Cavanaugh & Due. He then worked from 1974 to 1976 as a sole practitioner and from 1976 to 1988 as a partner of Fayard, Morrison & Kuhn. He was then elected to the district court in 1988.[5]
