Robert Grimmett Crigler was a judge for the Seventeenth Circuit Court in Tennessee. He served on the court position from 2005 until his retirement in May 2013.

Education

Crigler received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 1977 and his law degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1980.

Career

Crigler began his career in 1980 at the University of Tennessee Legal Clinic. The following year, he joined the firm of Rambo & Norton, where he worked until 1986. He then practiced with Ron Wilson & Associates until 1988, when he became an Assistant District Attorney General for the 17th Judicial District. He worked in that capacity until 2005, when he became a circuit court judge.
