Rita Harmening Pedersen is a magistrate judge of the Second District of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 1994 and serves Greene County.

Education

Pedersen received her bachelor's and law degrees from Drake University in 1981 and 1984, respectively.

Career

In addition to her magisterial duties, Pedersen is an attorney, and abstracter and a member of the Iowa State Bar Association's Real Estate and Title Law Section.
