Rebecca J. Stern was a criminal court judge for the Hamilton County Criminal Court in the Eleventh Judicial District of Tennessee. She joined the court in 1997. She retired from the bench on June 1, 2015.

Education

Stern received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1980 and her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee School of Law in 1987.

Career

Stern began her career in 1987 as an associate at a law firm based in Chattanooga. She then served as an assistant district attorney for the 11th Judicial District from 1989 until she joined the Hamilton County Criminal Court in 1997.
