Rebecca J. Stern was a criminal court judge for the Hamilton County Criminal Court in the Eleventh Judicial District of Tennessee. She joined the court in 1997.[1][2][3] She retired from the bench on June 1, 2015.[4]

Education

Stern received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1980 and her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee School of Law in 1987.[1]

Career

Stern began her career in 1987 as an associate at a law firm based in Chattanooga. She then served as an assistant district attorney for the 11th Judicial District from 1989 until she joined the Hamilton County Criminal Court in 1997.[1]
