Patricia E. Henry was a judge of the New York City Criminal Court of Kings County as well as the New York City Family Courts. She was appointed to the Criminal Court in 2003 and her term expired in 2016. She also served on the Family Court from 2005 to 2016 and on the Kings County Supreme Court in the 2nd Judicial District of New York.[1][2]

Education

Henry received her B.S. from the University of Dayton in 1970 and her J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School in 1979.[1]

Career

Henry began her career in 1979 as an associate for David Bernheim, Esq. She then joined the New York City Law Department in 1982. There she served as assistant corporation counsel until 1987 and as borough supervisor in 1986 and 1987. She then worked as an assistant coordinator and the director of program planning for the N.Y.C. Office of the Criminal Justice Coordinator for ten years. From 1997 to 2003, she served as special project coordinator for the New York court system. She then served the courts as an executive assistant for a short time in 2003 before her judicial appointment.

Henry began her judicial career in 2003 when she was appointed to the New York City Criminal Court of Kings County. She was reappointed to this position in 2007. Since 2005, she has also worked as a judge of the New York City Family Courts.[1]
