Mike Suttle
Mike Suttle was the presiding judge in the Alabama District 11 circuit, serving Lauderdale County. He announced his retirement from the court in early January of 2009, and said that he planned to begin practicing law in Florence, Alabama.[1]
Education
Suttle grew up in Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Memphis. He received his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.[1]
Career
After his graduation from law school, Suttle went to work in Knoxville, Tennessee, as an attorney for the Tennessee Valley Authority. He moved to Florence in 1979 to join the law firm of Potts, Young and Blasingame."
Suttle was appointed to the circuit court in 1984 and won re-election four times (twice running unopposed).[1]
