Michael J. Wherry is a senior judges on the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania.[1] Wherry was first appointed to the court in 1992 by then Governor Robert P. Casey Sr. He was elected in 1993 to a 10 year term. In 2003, Wherry retired to the court and became a senior judge.
Education
Wherry earned both his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Wherry was Mercer County's first Public Defender.[3]
