Michael M. Hathaway was a judge of the 3rd Circuit Court in Wayne County, Michigan. He is in the Criminal Division. He was appointed to this position in March of 2001. His final term ended on January 1, 2017.

Education

Hathaway received his B.A. degree in English from Wayne State University in 1967 and his J.D. degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1971.

Career

Hathaway began his career in 1971 working for the law firm of Vandeveer Garzia, P.C. He worked there until he was appointed to the circuit court in 2001.

2010 election

Hathaway was re-elected to the 3rd Circuit Court in the general election on November 2, 2010, along with 18 other judges.
