Kathy Johnson is a judge of the 7th Judicial District in Louisiana (Catahoula and Concordia Parishes). She has served in this position since March of 1996. She was the first woman ever elected to the 7th District and replaced former Judge Glenn Gremillion.[1][2][3] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[4][5]

Johnson earned a B.A. from Northwestern State University, going on to receive her J.D. from Louisiana State University in 1978.[6]
Career
Johnson worked as the clerk of court for Catahoula Parish prior to becoming a judge in 1996.[1]
