John A. Gregory was a judge for the Third Judicial District of Mississippi. He was elected to the position in 2010.[1] Gregory retired on June 30, 2020.[2]

Gregory ran for re-election to the Third Judicial District.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3]
2010
Gregory defeated Tom Levidiotis and Dave Rozier in the general election for the Third Judicial District, winning 63% of the vote.[1][4]

Education
Gregory earned a B.S. degree from the University of Mississippi, going on to receive his J.D. from the Jackson School of Law (now the Mississippi College School of Law).[5]
Career
Prior to joining the bench in 2010, Gregory spent 23 years as a prosecuting attorney for Chickasaw County. His job experience also includes serving as an attorney for the Chickasaw Board of Supervisors, the Okolona Municipal Separate School District and the city of Okolona. He also worked as an assistant district attorney for the Mississippi Third Judicial District and as a law clerk to Justice Stokes V. Robertson of the Mississippi Supreme Court.[5]
