Jane B. Emons is a judge on the New Haven District Superior Court in Connecticut. She was appointed to the court in 2010 by Gov. Mary Jodi Rell in March 2010. Emons will serve until 2018.

Education

Emons received a bachelor's degree from Kirkland College in 1971, a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina in 1972, and a J.D. from Suffolk University in 1977.

Career

Prior to her appointment to the bench, Emons was an assistant state attorney general from 1996 until 2010. She also previously worked in the New Haven state's attorney's office from 1978 until 1988.
