J. Craig Wright was a justice on the Ohio Supreme Court from January 2, 1985 to March 6, 1996. He was the 140th justice to serve on the court.[1]

Education

Wright received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 1951 and his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1954.[1]

Military service

Wright served in the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps from 1955 to 1956.[1]

Career

Wright spent his legal career in private practice. He was elected to the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in 1970. In 1983, Wright was appointed to the Governor's Ohio Recovery Council, where he served for seven years. He was elected to the Ohio Supreme Court in 1984 and resigned in 1996.[1]
