Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 50.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Ann Smith Mischler.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.  

Education

Hunt received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.

Career

Hunt opened his own law practice in 2010. Prior to that, he served as counsel to a natural gas corporation.
