Hugh M. Flanagan was a judge on the District Court in Marshall County, Alabama. He was appointed by Governor Robert Bentley in March 2011 and his term expired in 2012.[1]

2012 election

Flanagan was defeated by Mitchell S. Floyd in the Republican primary on March 13, receiving 35.06% of the vote.[2][3]

Flanagan received his undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of Alabama. He earned his J.D. from its School of Law.[1]
