February 5, 2013 ballot measures in Ohio

There were seven local ballot measures on the ballots in Ohio for this election:

  • Five measures seek to increase school property taxes.
  • One of the five property tax increase measures would also authorize a school income tax.
  • This income tax was one of two proposed measures requesting approval of school income taxes.
  • One of the other property tax increase measures would also authorize school bonds.
  • This was the only bond measure in this election and would authorize bonds in the amount of $28,308,500.
  • There was one measure authorizing a rezoning amendment.
  • Three of the six school tax questions were approved and three were defeated.
