Elizabeth Tao is a judge for the New York City Housing Court of Bronx County, New York. She was appointed to this position on April 14, 1994, and was reappointed in 2003, 2009, 2014, and 2019.[1][2]

Education

Tao received her B.A. from George Washington University in 1982 and her J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1985.[1]

Career

Tao began her career in 1986 as a senior court attorney of the New York Unified Court System. She then served as a senior law assistant in the trial part from 1988 to 1992 and as an associate court attorney in the trial part from 1992 to 1994. She was appointed to the housing court in 1994.[1]
