An Eastlake City Council Appointment question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lake County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question amended Section 4 of Eastlake City Charter to provide that a City Council vacancy be filled by a majority vote of the remaining council.[1]
