David A. Brown is the District 11 incumbent on the Sumner County Board of Education in Tennessee. He defeated challenger Jeff Carter in the general election on August 7, 2014.

Brown is a retired food broker, having worked with Rogers American and Food Marketing Services for over 40 years. He was also co-owner of B&B Sales and Services. He and his wife, Rose, have five children and six grandchildren.
