The Arkansas Legislative Auditor is a legislative position in the Arkansas state government.
The Division of Legislative Audit annually issues more than 1,000 financial audits, reviews and special reports. The reports are designed to assist the Arkansas State Legislature, help maintain accountability of public resources, improve financial management and overall performance and "promote effective, efficient, and economical uses of public resources."[1]
