Planned content[]

Before being shut down, a substantial amount of content had been planned for Avatar: Generations that was never officially released:

Dojo master confronts Bronze Boar Tigers

The confrontation between the dojo master and the Bronze Boar Tigers was planned for an update.

  • For the Aang era, an additional territory with its own missions relating to the dojo master had been nearly finished. This story content would have revealed the dojo master's past, including their broken relationship with a former disciple named Taowu who had solely valued strength and abused his martial arts. The missions would have focused on the dojo master being forced to fight the "Bronze Boar Tigers", a radical and brutal group of martial artists whom Taowu had gathered. The storyline was described as being inspired by the film series "Kill Bill".[6][7] The dojo master's dark past and expanded role were already alluded to by in-game messages before Avatar: Generations was terminated.[8]
Sameera

Sameera was an Air Nomad character who was planned for a future expansion of the game before it was shut down.

  • For the Kyoshi era, the events of "Desperate Measures" were planned as part of an expansion including a new territory. Furthermore, a game-only storyline was also developed; this story would have focused on two Air Nomads: Sameera, a young and naive airbending prodigy, and Nethaka, a disgraced and exiled airbender whose dark past had led him to doubt pacifism's value. The two were friends, but Nethaka eventually left his home, causing Sameera to follow him. The two subsequently encountered two Fifth Nation pirates, Amarok and Yuki, who were fleeing from Mogwai vigilante-mercenaries under the vengeful Zhongyu.[7] Furthermore, Hei-Ran was planned as a playable hero, and Father Glowworm an an enemy.[9]
  • The developers also intended to add a Korra era to the game. As part of this expansion, Korra, Asami Sato, Mako, Bolin, Tenzin, Amon, "Republic City Equalist", and "Republic City Triad Gang" were planned as heroes. One developer stated on the the game's official Discord that the Republic City map planned for the game would be "ambitious". Icons for the Red Lotus, bloodbending, and metalbending had also been designed.[10] According to game artist Connor Widdows, the characters Mahira (seemingly an airbender), Shan, Aika, and Nataq were also developed for the Korra era.[11]
  • Content relating to Avatar Wan was planned.[6]
