Amy Kim Kibuishi is an American comic book cartoonist known for her Japanese-influenced artistic style. She illustrated one Avatar comic for Nick Mag Presents: Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Early life and career[]
Kibuishi, at the time known as Amy Kim Ganter, graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2002 with a Cartooning BFA.[1] She has since won numerous awards, one of which opened her career to the opportunity of further development for her graphic novel series.
Personal life[]
Kibuishi married Kazu Kibuishi, editor of the Flight series of anthologies, in April 2007[2] and lives in the Los Angeles, California area.
