I'm the founder and editor-at-large of australianfootball.com. In addition to providing general editorial comment and content, I aim to become a regular contributor as a community member. My footy interests span across the entire history of the game, and across the whole country, although I do have a particular fascination with the early years of the code.

Favourite Players

All the great players of the game, but a personal favourite is the man who I believe is its finest exponent, Graham 'Polly' Farmer. Another favourite is Fred McGinnis, one of the greatest 19th century footballers, according to most contemporary accounts, but almost competely forgotten today. And of course, any player who wears with distinction, the black and yellow of the Mighty Tigers!

Favourite Moment

Sitting with my father in the Southern stand at the MCG on the 27th of September, 1980, watching the Tigers demolish Collingwood in the VFL Grand Final. Little did any of us realize it would herald over thirty years of heartache for the Tigs.
