Russell D. “Speedy” Hoberecht a longtime resident of Great Bend, Kan., peacefully went to be with his heavenly Father on June 3, 2024. Russell was born on Oct. 4, 1931, in Newton, Kan., son of William Delmer and Gladys Marie (Howard) Hoberecht. He married Wanda Joyce Kirkman Sept. 20, 1953, in Great Bend.
