Bowes Art & Architecture Library
Located on the second floor of McMurtry, the collections, services, and staff of the library support teaching and research in the history and practice of the visual arts, architecture, film, and design. Its 170,000 volumes, including over 500 active journal titles, cover the history of architecture, sculpture, painting, drawing, graphic arts, design, photography, experimental media, performance art, video art, and decorative arts.

Cantor Arts Center
The Cantor Arts Center's diverse collections span continents, cultures, and 5,000 years of art history and include one of the largest presentations of Rodin bronzes outside Paris. Anderson Collection at Stanford University
The Anderson Collection is one of the world’s most outstanding private assemblies of modern and contemporary American art. The collection is a gift from Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson and Mary Patricia Anderson Pence, the Bay Area family who built the collection over the last 50 years. The addition of this remarkable art collection strengthens Stanford’s growing commitment to the arts and the connection between the study, creation and experience of art.

The Vice Presidency for the Arts (VPA) is dedicated to increasing the visibility and impact of the arts at Stanford. The VPA offers extracurricular and interdisciplinary student programs, public exhibitions and performances, and central resources for navigating the arts within the university.

The Institute for Diversity in the Arts (IDA) is an interdisciplinary program in the humanities that involves students in the study of culture, identity, and diversity through artistic expression.
