The Riot Helmet is a head-slot armor piece from the Riot Armor set. This set doesn't give much insulation but it gives you more protection. The decreased protection from the elements combined with the need for ingredients of Polymer and Silica to repair cause this armor to be overlooked by many in favor of Flak. High quality pieces of this armor type can be useful in situations where you need all the armor you can get like in Boss Fights and Missions but creates a time limit for how long you can use the armor before you run out of stuff to keep you warm or cool. Mixing and matching pieces with other armor would be best if you want to wear this armor and not freeze or burn up in it.
